Small format
Up to about 60 cm wide, for narrow walls, hallways and shelves.
Small formats hang where a large picture would overwhelm: in the hallway, beside a door, above a sideboard. They work up close, not over distance.
Where small format fits
Hallway, staircase, niche, home office.
Rooms where you stand close to the picture. From one metre the detail counts, not the surface.
Single or as a group
Two or three small works fill a wall like one medium format.
Hung with equal spacing they read as a row. Uneven formats look looser but need one shared edge.
Viewing distance
One to two metres.
Small format is made for closeness. Beyond four metres it disappears on the wall.
